Putting my kids in UCCMA is the best thing I have ever done for their growth and development. I love the teachers and the programs and would highly recommend it to anyone considering."

"The growth and development my children have shown through union colony's music classes have exceeded my expectations. The songs and activities help with so much more than music. My children have learned practical things that help me teach and parent, for instance washing hands, brushing teeth, following instructions, stopping something they are doing, cleaning up, transitioning to new tasks, playing with others, exploring, and creative play are just a few to name. I love taking them each week and it is so fun to come home and see how much they've learned, even if they don't show it in class or show it when they were younger (babies). Family Music is a class designed for the entire family. Music education is emphasized with activities including singing, focused listening, playing simple instruments, as well as creative and purposeful movement. We play simple music games and learn simple circle and fold dances, and explore a wide variety of instruments and sounds. Children enjoy being with children of various ages, and parents learn how to modify activities in developmentally appropriate ways for the unique age characteristics of each child.

"My daughter has attended UCCMA since she was about 1 year old. She looks forward to her music class every week. We are at the point where she knows what day of the week it is based on if she has music that day or not. Her rhythm and social skills have developed immensely since starting the class. We couldn't ask for anything more. "

"Union Colony Children's Music Academy has made a huge impact on not only my kids, but on our entire family.  We use the ditties, songs, and rhythm games in our lives daily!  We can make the daily chores fun and exciting by tapping, clapping or singing about it.  Your teaching staff is awesome…we really feel loved :)  Thank you for your commitment to my little ones…"
